Terms & Privacy Notice

Last updated: 28 April 2026

These Terms & Privacy Notice explain how LGRacingTeam Race Planner may be used, how subscriptions work, and how personal data is handled.

1. Who We Are

LGRacingTeam Race Planner is an online endurance race planning tool for sim racing teams.

The service is operated by:

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accepting an invite, starting a trial, subscribing, accessing a team workspace or using the Race Planner, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Notice.

If you do not agree, you must not create an account or use the service.

3. Age Requirements

The service is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under 18 may only use the service as part of a team managed by an adult Team Owner or Admin.

The Team Owner must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for the subscription, team workspace, invited users and team data.

4. Accounts, Teams and Access

5. Roles and Permissions

6. Subscription, Trial, Cancellation and Refunds

7. Service Availability and Data Accuracy

The Race Planner is a planning and coordination tool. Race calculations, timing, fuel estimates, pit estimates and role-based views are provided to support team decisions, but teams remain responsible for validating race strategy and live decisions.

We aim to keep the service available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free calculations or compatibility with every browser/device.

8. Acceptable Use

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of race results, loss of performance, loss of expected results, downtime, data loss caused by third-party failures, or decisions made based on planner calculations.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

10. Data Controller Roles

LGRacingTeam is the data controller for account administration, authentication setup, platform security, trial management, subscription status, billing-related records and support/privacy requests.

Team Owners are responsible for the team data they enter or manage in their workspace, including invited users, driver lists, phone numbers, planner notes and race plans. Depending on the situation, Team Owners may act as independent controllers for their team content, while LGRacingTeam provides the platform used to process that data.

11. Personal Data We Process

Depending on how the service is used, we may process:

12. Why We Process Personal Data

13. Legal Bases for Processing

Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

14. Sub-processors and Infrastructure

The service uses third-party providers to operate securely, including hosting, database/authentication, email delivery and payment processing. Current or intended sub-processors include:

We do not store full payment card details. Payment card data is handled by the payment provider.

Some providers may process data outside Norway or the EEA. Where required, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions or equivalent contractual protections are used.

For business customers, the standard Data Processing Agreement applies where LGRacingTeam processes customer-controlled team data on behalf of the customer. For additional DPA questions or a more detailed sub-processor list, contact privacy@lgracingteam.com.

15. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, handle disputes, meet accounting/legal obligations, prevent trial abuse or support the team workspace.

Team planner data may remain in a workspace until deleted by authorised team users or by us following a valid request. Billing and accounting records may be retained for the period required by applicable law.

If a user deletes their app profile, visible profile details may be removed from the active app experience. However, limited records may be retained where necessary for security, legal obligations, billing history, dispute handling, audit logs or prevention of repeated trial abuse.

As a practical baseline, active account and team data is kept while the account or team workspace is active. Security/session logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security and troubleshooting. Billing and accounting records may be kept for the legally required accounting period. A limited email record may be retained after profile deletion to prevent repeated trial abuse and support security checks.

16. Your GDPR Rights

Where GDPR applies, you may have the right to request:

To exercise privacy rights, email privacy@lgracingteam.com. We will respond without undue delay and normally within one month, unless the request is complex or a legal exception applies.

The right to deletion is not absolute. Some data may need to be retained where required for legal obligations, billing records, security, dispute handling, legal claims or abuse prevention.

If you believe your privacy rights have not been handled correctly, you may complain to your local data protection authority. In Norway, this is Datatilsynet.

17. Cookies and Local Storage

The service uses essential cookies, authentication tokens, local storage and similar technologies required for login, session handling, security, device-session limits and core app functionality.

We do not use these technologies for third-party advertising inside the Race Planner app. If this changes, this notice will be updated.

18. Security

We use authentication, role-based access, database security policies, secure infrastructure practices and operational monitoring to protect data. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, so users must also protect their passwords and team access.

If we become aware of a personal data breach that creates a legal notification duty, we will handle it according to applicable data protection law. Where GDPR requires notification to a supervisory authority, we aim to notify within 72 hours after becoming aware of the breach. If a breach is likely to result in a high risk to affected individuals, we will also notify affected users without undue delay where legally required.

19. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. Team Owners may remove users from a team workspace. We may suspend or terminate accounts or workspaces that violate these terms, create security risk, abuse trials, fail payment requirements or misuse the service.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Privacy Notice as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.

21. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law, unless mandatory consumer or data protection law gives you other rights.
